Mortgage AI for Israel: check your bank’s offer with artificial intelligence

What AI can do with the document your bank gave you, what it cannot, and what you get when you upload it to Mashkanta-Buddy.

What AI actually does with your mortgage

In most places "mortgage AI" means a chatbot that talks about mortgages in general. Here the AI works on your mortgage, in three steps.

It reads the document. An in-principle approval, a bank offer, an amortization schedule or a balance confirmation. Structured data is extracted from it: amount, tracks, the rate on each track, term, indexation, loan-to-value.

It understands your mortgage. Not every mortgage matters for the same reason. The system identifies what matters in yours: the track mix, the exposure to CPI and to rate changes, the exit points, the gaps against the comparison sources, and the questions worth looking into.

It tailors the dashboard to you. Based on what it finds, the system chooses which analyses and tools to run and builds a dashboard around your specific mortgage, not one screen for everyone. The information is presented clearly, with the source of every number.

The calculations themselves, monthly payment, total cost, sensitivity to rate and CPI changes, are computed deterministically rather than guessed by a language model, so the same document always gets the same result.

What you get after uploading

What AI does not do here

The system does not tell you which mortgage to take and does not promise savings. It puts your numbers next to the comparison sources and marks where there is a gap. The decision, and the conversation with the bank, stay yours.

The system can misread a document. Every figure is shown next to its source so you can verify it against the document and the bank. We never ask for, and never accept, bank login credentials.

We take no fees from banks. The service is sold to the user only, so we have no reason to prefer one bank over another.

Comparison sources

Two sources, both named in every comparison: the average rates the Bank of Israel publishes by track and term, and an aggregate pool of offers that users of the service chose to share, with no identifying details. The pool is not "the market", and it is always shown with its sample size and time window.

Another way in: through your AI assistant (MCP)

Mashkanta-Buddy is a service, not only a website. We are building an MCP (Model Context Protocol) connection so you can use the service directly from Claude and other AI assistants: upload a document, get the analysis and comparison, open your dashboard and talk to "The Artificial Advisor", with the same account, quotas and consent rules as on the site.

The connection is in development and will be announced here when available. Until then, the website is the way to start.

Frequently asked questions

Is this mortgage advice?

No. Mashkanta-Buddy is a software tool for analysis and comparison. It is not an advisor, does not give advice, and is not a substitute for licensed professional advice.

Which documents can I upload?

An in-principle approval, a bank offer, an amortization schedule or a balance confirmation, as a PDF or a photo (JPG, PNG). One document is enough to start.

Do I need to sign up?

No. Start without signing up: the first upload opens a guest identity, and you can connect a Google account later without losing data.

What happens to my data?

Extracted data is used for your analysis and for the aggregate comparison pool, with no identifying details, as described in the privacy policy. You can request deletion from your account.

Can the system be wrong?

Yes. Data extraction relies on AI models and can be wrong. Every figure is shown next to its source so you can verify it against the document and the bank.

Check your mortgage

Check your mortgage now

An automated tool. It is not an advisor, does not give advice, and can be wrong. Verify every figure against your document and your bank.
